Live - Magma and it's new line-up

End of september 2021 the French zeuhlgroup will release the album ESKÄHL (Act XIX). It captures the concerts of MAGMA in its recomposed line-up, during the aborted 2020 tour, at Bordeaux, Toulouse and Perpignan.

End of 2019, Magma's line-up with its energetic and loyal members Philippe Bussonnet (bass, since 1996), Benoît Alziary (vibes) and Jérôme Martineau-Ricotti (rhodes) unexpectedly came to an end. After finishing the 50 years anniversary tour, to everyone's surprise, Christian Vander immediately came up with a new line-up including keyboardists Simon Goubert and Thierry Eliez, bassist Jimmy Top (son of the legendary Magma bassist Jannick Top) and three extra female singers. In Vander's own words, the new version of Magma is more vibrant than ever. "Magma is there, will always be there. And nothing – no, nothing! – will stop us!"
